A day before the fate of the government will be decided in the parliament, the LOK SABHA session indicated to me that there is going to be a lot of discussion and fight on Nuclear Deal and Inflation. India is moving towards industrialization and for that we need abundant power source. As we are all thinking on these lines today, a BJP MP rightly raised a point on the sourcing of equipment and fuel. US companies will be fueling the growth of the nuclear reactors to be built. This means that they control the prices and technology. A fact which we all are aware of is that we've been buying sub standard technology from the developed nations. A country, which is already in recession would bring in more inflation to our country already plagued by it.I too believe in majority. The main problem here is that if this government goes through the deal by unfair means i.e. buying (horse trading) of MPs, if they fail to form a government next time with the likes of Mayawati, the nuclear deal may have no future. The next government, in a bid to follow the right path may simply back off. At a time when the country needs unity, the main problem lying in the path of the nuclear deal is the vested interests of the MPs.
