Now here is my country, the world's largest successful democracy without a coup d’ état and now we are somewhere in the grey zone of communism where a number of people with common interests are trying to violate the freedom of speech of the citizens that have played the most vital role in building this country. Outraged bloggers vented their ire in cyberworld against the Supreme Court’s take that they may face libel, even prosecution, for airing their views online. Believing their freedom of expression is in danger, bloggers railed at the SC’s refusal to quash a criminal complaint against a fellow blogger.So who is to blame, the supreme court, the blogger or the government who could have played a role in influencing the judgment ? I don't know, but all I can say is that the current events are not in the interest of the nation. People can get away by vandalizing places, monuments, igniting public violence but if a person criticizes or even abuses them is sent to jail. Can we say we are living in a democratic country ?
